We can support you if your need that falls within one of the following categories

  • Support required to make a planned move within Leeds
  • Support required to prevent homelessness
  • Support required to manage your existing tenancy

We can support you if you have a secondary support need that impacts your ability to manage housing issues independently.

Examples of secondary support needs include:

  • Learning disabilities

  • Autism
  • Asperger’s Syndrome
  • Neurodivergence

  • Mental Health Difficulties
  • Physical Health Difficulties
  • Domestic Violence
  • Offending

Please note:

If you are currently bidding for social housing and your priority/banding is correct then we can’t help you get a move any quicker. We can support you to look for a Private Let as long as your financial situation is appropriate for this.

    What Happens Next?

    1. Once your referral has been received in the Hub, it will be placed on our waiting list.
    2. All referrals are checked daily to ensure we prioritise urgent cases, such as those at risk of imminent street homelessness or people fleeing domestic violence /harassment.
    3. Once we get to your referral on the list, the Hub will make contact with you to discuss your situation.
    4. Once we know that Engage Leeds is the right service for you, your details will be passed on to one of our teams who will allocate a Housing Support Worker to your case.
    5. If, however, we feel we are not the right service for you at this time, the hub will either provide one-off advice or direct you towards a more appropriate service.
    6. The referrer will be informed if the referral has been accepted or declined/signposted.
