We are Engage Leeds

A city-wide housing support service.

We are a large team of housing support staff who work city wide and support people on a one to one basis.

In addition, we have some specially trained staff who provide support to people affected by dementia or memory issues, benefit and/or employment needs and people who come to us who may have multiple support needs. We also have a team of volunteers who can support people to feel more socially included.

At Engage Leeds we believe in justice, being inclusive and in listening to the people we support.

We want to work in solidarity with other people including the communities within which we work to ensure we challenge any practices that are unfair, unjust and discriminatory. We believe that everyone has a right to be respected and valued for who they are and we are committed to providing a service that is open and welcoming to all. We are also committed to focusing on strengths, inspiring hope and supporting positive change.

If you are in inadequate/over-occupied housing you will likely be awarded band A or B. To increase your chances of securing a home, consider your options realistically. If you are only interested in one area but there are no properties there that suit your needs you will not find anything to bid on. Social housing is in great demand so you could be bidding for many months without success. There is no shortcut so please remember this if you have limited your own options.
